iVideoCamera is amazing! It would be even better if you could upload to TwitVid…

Nice update on 1.1 of iVideoCamera. Would it be possible to detect orientation, or at least be able to rotate after the fact if a video was shot in landscape? Also, the export to Camera Roll works fine (where I can trim it down), but then I have no way of re-importing the trimmed version back to the iVideoCamera library (assuming I’d want to do that sometimes).

I already get the update, but i really need to say that NEEDS ANOTHER UPDATE with:
-Zoom.
-The 320×427 MUST be the STANDAR recording. Actually we wanted recording videos with the size of the HOLE iPhone screen, you know what i mean?
-NO LIMITED TIME. On HI-RES i can recording videos at max 1:50min. The Low quality video is chopy and poor, so i don’t use it.
-NO RENDERING WAITING!
-15 FPS. I think Apple gonna let this FPS, because they prefered iPhone users buy apps on the App Store than do the free jailbreak to use Cycoder.
-VOLUME FIX! Is very low sometimes.
After this could be the best app ever! We could pay US$5 for it or more. So LaanLabs HURRY UP FOR ANOTHER UPDATE! Because now you’re gonna have to compite with iVidCam, Qik and other future updates than this apps gonna do it on the next weeks…

Great update! Your user interface is the best out of all of the video camera apps, by far. I think it would be cool if you added an option to filter the videos with black and white, sepia, and so on.

obviously we’ve only just received this one, and already everyones waiting for the next improvement( myself included).
A few tiny requests, the UI is slick and just like a native apple app, although could you adjust the black bar to a gray colour similar to the apple app, and perhaps have an audible beep to signal when you’ve started and stopped recording?
I understand that Apple impose restrictions that must frustrate developers who know the potential of the iPhone, but let me say you’re doing a great job
looking forward to the update with increased fps, the only other thing I ask is please please please publish where you are with your progress a little more frequently. Everyone gets excited when they hear how things are being developed and the anticipation when a new product is about to be released is excellent

ps. What would be truly amazing is if you could include a camera app within this app……however, I guess Apple would just raise their eyebrows at such a suggestion lol

I am having trouble uploading to Youtube, it will upload okay, but the video doesn’t work on youtube, I get an error. Also uploading to Twitter fails each time I try and it takes a few tries to actually get it to upload. Same goes for Facebook. Any idea why this is happening? Will this change in the next update?

all upload/share methods should work – fb is broken right now, but will be fixed with update…

Hey. I recorded a few videos on the iPhone and I downloaded them to my Mac via iPhoto, but when iTunes tries to sync to my iPhone (photos sync) it says that the videos cannot be synced because they are not compatible with the iphone. WTH?!

well, there is a difference between “should” and “is” working and right now the Twitter upload “is” not working, no matter how many times I try. You Tube, takes me a few tries to upload and even then that is sporadic. Are you planning to look into this or is this something that not many people are experiencing so you are just going to let it go?

I love the app BUT I can’t email or facebook video. And when I use the wifi, it downloads onto my computer immediately but I can’t play it. The message is that safari can’t find site. I don’t want to try youtube – not that extroverted – lol.

Loving the update!!! Had the app since it first came out on the app store, and it looks like it’s shaping out to be one of my favs… Hopefully mms will be coming soon as well as faster fps. Glad to see that our ideas and comments are truly being taken into consideration. Keep up the good work!!!

Great software. I have a request. It’s not easy to know on/off recording state from red indicator on the button. It would be better to make the indicator dimmer in the off state.

Just bought v.1.1 and I thinks it’s great!
But here’s some small sugestions (if i may )
- use the volume buttons to start/stop recording
- In the Library, theres no need to have a delete button (because slide-to-delete is “standard” in most iphone apps)

Wonderful… I bought this specifically for transferring to Facebook and i have to wait until god knows when to do that. Had i known, i would have waited to spend my money on this

New version 1.1 takes this video app to the next level. But of course customers always want more. Would be great to have more fps (15 +) and increased video quality. Would pay additional $$ for these features but actual app is still worth every cent. Keep up the good work !

@Admin. What is the highest frames per second that apple will allow?

Superb app. One question – what are the 2 icons above the resolution bar on the right for? The grey square and the crossed arrows? Nothing happens when I touch them. Are they just for show?

Hi!!! I love your product but…it’s for when the MMS??? Before I moved for the iPhone I had a Palm Treo and each video clip I was taking, welllll I could send it via MMS to a friend:-) So, do I suspect that the same thing will be possible with this app??? Keep going with the great job you are doing…;-)

Any word from the powers that be at Apple on MMS capability anytime soon? Otherwise, this is the best app yet!

I LOVE this app. But I have one request for the next update. The ability to import the videos back into the library from the camera roll. I deleted the app and reinstalled it to see if that would fix the facebook upload bug, losing all my videos in the library. I understand that this bug will be fixed in the next update, but I still won’t be able to upload my old videos without this feature. Thanks a lot for the terrific app. It’s worth at least $5.

Mms capability would b great but idk if it’s possible. Other posters have mentioned some great ideas and I hope u can implement them. I love the app bc the 3g was reaally missing this n my friends are like “WTF?” when I say I can’t do video. Keep up the good work!

Great product, can replay it on my Iphone, have wi fied it across to my computer but all that I get there on play back is a blue screen with a musical note on it. Sound is there but no picture, same again when I sent it as an email.

Love this app! The update made it even better. Once you fix the bug with Facebook and up the framerate it will be “the boss” of all the video camera apps.

Great app. If I free my memory before shoting (MemorySweep), I can get about 1min40sec on high res. Keep up the good work. Only wish it can take longer video on high res and better FPS.

Unable to load into facebook and twitter. Needs to be fixed.
Also, would like an edit option to shorten video file since you can’t email if greater than 20 mb.

The app is nice but why am I not able to upload it to my FB account? When It asks me to connect to Snackfeed with Facebook it will not allow me to input my Email and passwork… I removed app and reinstalled it to my iPhone… any ideas?

is there any way to export the videos in camera roll from vs. 1? through quicktime it’s green screen, i know this is an issue that was fixed in new version, just want to know if those previous version videos are forever stuck in the camera roll for viewing? are there any plans for adding zoom to the app? great work guys, i’m so happy you are currently #1 paid app, you so deserve it! keep up the great work!

Great update! I’m really happy to be able to grab videos using my iPhone 3G!
Other than the Facebook problem, I found one bug with the app: If you press the record button to start recording, then press it again after less than a second, the application crashes (or exits).

Wow, this is almost as good as cycorder, and with that i mean the fps, cause everything else is way better.
Cycorder is basically a very simple app, but wow, this one has so many cool features!
If the fps goes up again in the next update, and maybe a little more in quality, then i think this will def be the best and greatest video app on the iPhone!

My facebook upload don’t work. It won’t bring up the keyboard when I Touch the log in areas. All it does in reset the page. Great app except I can’t iplaos it

Did you guys get better revenue treatment for your iPhone apps than you did for your android ones? As in, you know, like how you passed a million downloads, and only got enough revenue for 1/2 a small latte from your local coffee shop.

First of all I LOVE the app! Great job guys! My wife and I both have the iPhone 3G. Mine works with all of the services, although Facebook didn’t work the first time, but then worked fine after I tried it again. My wide’s iPhone worked for everything accept Facebook, which refuses to render the login page properly. Again, mine did work on the second try. Don’t know if this is at all helpful, but I thought I should share.

Downloaded iVideo Camera and love the app but cannot get it toconnect to Facebook. Get that fixed and it will be great.

iPhone video camera

This is a great Camcorder app for the 3G. The best of the lot out there. Would like to her a beep or some sound when you tap the record button and when you stop. Perhaps a pause option.

Cool app – wifi only works when I close the program and then restart it, or am I supposed to use FTP? That didn’t connect. Also, has a hard time with horizontal or vertical (many times portrait when I shot it normal/landscape). Otherwise great concept for my 2G phone!

Good, straightforward app. Add me to the long list of Facebook users who can’t log in. Ten days ago you told a poster (above) an update would be available “shortly.” May I suggest that you could go a LONG way toward assuaging the anxiety over that issue by describing to the best of your ability what that means? A week? A month? Six months? As soon as apple approves your update (and approx how long that process has taken in the past or how long you’ve been told to expect to wait until your fix is approved)? That’d be very nice and get a lot of people off your back as well as probably reduce negative reviews. Thanks!

Found a solution to the Facebook authentication issue (I think). The Facebook login page (for the Facebook Share option) starts magically working if you authenticate the Vimeo Share option using the Facebook Connection *first*. Remember to (even earlier) to first link FB Connect and Vimeo via a regular browser.

Please fix this app. I have bought other apps from you and have been very pleased. Not so much with this one, only because it doesn’t do what you guys say it does,ie upload to facebook. hope you fix it soon… then it will be almost perfect. great start though! thanks!

i need info on ivedeocamera regarding sending video to my email. i send my video to my email what happened is that it partially sends the vidoe to my email and it doesnt send fully. its stuck and resends it over and over again. i took the ividoe apps out of my iphone and still resends it again. what can i do to fix this. my other question is i lost the video i took of my son. pls i need info how to fix this thanks

Upload to Twitter or Facebook fails every time. I tried to email & screen just goes black after a few seconds, and of course is not sent. Hope you can get these issues “fixed” soon

Hello – I need help, I can not enter the set ip address which will appear in the program, it says I must write an ip address in my web browser and I must be in the same network, but we do not get in? I use a mac / safari and explore also tried, but could not get it.

why does my phone only allow for hi res videos of 25 seconds? It says max recording limit reached, but I have at least 4GB of memory available so its not a size problem! I have a 2G iPhone with 3.1 software…

Love the video app, but when I tried to email it, it caused my phone to keep turning off and on by itself and run really slow when I try to get on anything. I have rebooted twice this afternoon with no luck. Will try to sync at home. Any info or help on thsi would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

i have had no success sharing any video. quicktime player doesn’t recognize the file and i can’t convert them to anything that another video player will recognize. has this been reported previously?

When playing my video back I can’t hear anything that’s on my computer or iPhone…..why? Plz help I want this to work for me…;)

Still having the problem with the facebook screen sharing. It won’t respond to the touch screen for login. Even when I log in to the facebook app already, it is still saying I need to login and won’t respond to the touch screen of ivideocamera. Sounds like this is a common thing, will somone respond or add an update.
