We are working hard and furiously on a major update to iVideoCamera. We know a lot of you have been complaining about the facebook bug. When we updated to v1.1 we added some UI elements which were not compatible with Facebook Connect SDK login process. We have just been waiting to release that fix along with a major update. If for some reason you absolutely cannot wait email us with your UDID and we will send you an adhoc.

Has anyone actually gotten the AdHoc update? Apple’s approval process time frame aside, has the updated application been submitted to Apple yet?

I have iVideo Camera on my iPhone. Worked great the first few times however, now when I try to launch it, it acts like it is going to launch and then just goes back to my main screen on my iPhone. Any suggestions? Thanks!
I think something must went wrong with Iaan’s life. It’s really weird that after this much complaints there’s still no explaination whatsoever.
Iaan, next time when you post an update teaser I suggest you tell peoplethe timeline when the update is going to be submitted to Apple. Because if you don’t, you could be making people checking both App Store and your blog from time to time, like what already happened in the comment block of this post.
So you see, even you were not promissing anything you can still end up losing creditability. If it’s something you can’t and don’t know when you’ll be able to achieve you need to tell people. If there’s anything stoping you from updating you need to tell people.
The reason is clear, Ividiocamera was good for start, but today Qik video is better. They has much better than this, and is not easy, because Qik is very nice. I Think this is the problem. We have to wait, I love Ivideocamera, but is not the best right now, It’s very clear. It’s a hard challenge.

iVC rocks! My fav thing about it is the UI – sleek & simple, naturally blends into an overall iPhone experience and doesn’t leave a feeling of a 3rd party product. Like it’s been there forever. Please do not make any substantial changes to it in the *hopefully* coming update. The most anticipated features for me: improved frame rate & zooming. Not gonna go for any rival product

Even with new update. Facebook doesn’t work
Just downloaded this and it does not work with facebook. It comes back with an error about the file format not being supported.
Your documentation is misleading.
I would like to know about the special effects packs. Why don’t you let on in the description that you have to pay extra for the effects listed in the ad. It’s not until you try to use them that you find out that there is an extra charge for them. Is each page, ie. four effects considered a pack?
