I have a suggestion for you guys to potentially take your LED scrolling app to a level never seen before! How about adding the capability to edit the message from a separate Bluetooth connected iPhone/Touch/iPad. Essentially creating another iBanner “Controller App” that allows you to type in a custom message, or create a list of “speed dial” messages wirelessly updated from the second device that is running the controller app.

Then the message could be updated from across the room, or I could put it in the back window of my car and update it with various messages to the people behind me. ie: “Get off my ass” only if someone actually DOES tailgate me!

Although I am kind of kidding about my example, you get the potential!

You could even charge .99 for that one because of the added (and quite unique) feature add.

If you’re willing to revenue share on it, I could get some good press for it as well!

Love the iBanner app. I built an LED display in college. A couple of features I built into it was a clock app. That would be nice in this app. Also maybe some graphics like smilies and stuff. Thanks for the app. It’s great!

Love the iPad app – what a great idea. I’ve already had some naughty fun using with my wife.

How can I delete an entry on the Recent Message list?

Kind of have an embarrassing one I don’t want my kid to see!

    Thanks

    Love it !

I need a option to load the message from an url
    NSString *link=[NSString stringWithFormat:@"http://www.website.com/message.txt"];

    Will be perfect ..

    Great app!

One request – rotate the display 180 degrees so it displays properly if using an iPad case.

  6. Dennis says:

Ignore above request. It’s working now!

Have you guys thought about allowing a reverse option so that it’s possible to display a message to the driver in front and he can read the message in his rear view mirror?

I got the Ibanner for Ipad. It worked three times but now it appears stuck on a message which I cannot alter or replace. I,ve tried tapping in various places on the screen to no affect. Tried to load it from the Apps site but was informed it was installed. Help please?

I love the app, but….be the first with external vga support so you I can display it on larger lcd screens. There is no banner app with that option on the market. Additionally a Twitter feed would be nice !

    Great app!

    Req: Delete history!

I second that request for a Bluetooth connection, if you are not sure who to do it, look into a OBEX transfer, you simply find the device then send it a data packet, it’s pretty simple and doesn’t require a two way connection.

Did you die and leave all these great ideas?
Come on, most are great and there is $$ to be made by you.
This app is half way there, just do it!

  15. nigel says:

    app is great but

how do you delete previous history

the screen goes low, then turns off after around 20 to 30 seconds so the app in real terms is useless.

About to delete the app and reinstall to see if the history is removed.

    thanks
