Congrats on releasing the update and the continued success. Thanks for the support.
Dear Laan Labs,
I need help installing the appropriate software support to view the videos I recorded on my iPhone using iVideoCamera on my computer.
First I tried Quicktime, because the file tag is listed as “Quicktime Video.” Even though I have the latest version of Quicktime,
I got an error message saying Quicktime could not read the file type.
Next I tried viewing the video using Windows Media Player. The program gave me an Error C00D1199 – “Windows Media Player cannot play
the file. The Player might not support the file type or might not support the
codec that was used to compress the file.” Next I downloaded the XP Codec Pack 1.3.0 at http://www.free-codecs.com. STILL, Windows Media Player
does not support the file type.
I’m at my wits end. Having a video app for my iPhone is essential. The video I need to transfer to my computer to share with family is one of my
husband presenting his master’s thesis project. It’s a huge let down to be tied up and not being able to view and share the file that his parents
are waiting to see.
Please help!
Sincerely,
Christie Francis
I continuously get the error message, “Video failed to upload. Reason: Video upload fail.” anytime I try to upload it to ANY of the websites that you offer in the app. Can you please tell me why this is happening (cause the error message isn’t exactly helpful) and what I need to do to fix it??
Hello, I can´t upload my videos to facebook, it says that I have to connect to my FB but I can´t do it from there, what do I have to do???
Hi when is the new update comming out come on man
considering going to quikcam ;(
Does this software work for the iPad?
I’ve read about people who bought the extra video effects packs (3 & 4), although I can’t find them anywhere! Where are they?
Love the program- but when it’s uploaded to FACEBOOK, can you make it to where a small picure is there instead of an icon?

This was posted on May 14, 2010 and today June 14, 2010 the same message is still popping up on my phone. What gives. Are you going to fix this or what?
When the battery is low and Im recording the 20percent icon appears and it recorded with it. Please get rid of this. Because when I watch the video and my battery is fully charged the icon was recored with with video. Besides this I love this app!
Whens bluetooth going to be available so I can just sync my videos rights to my computer??????????????????????????
I downloaded the app today and tried to use it. I followed the instructions when it told me to email myself to allow for longer videos. I don’t get the email confirmation to unlock this annoying feature. Please help.

Greetings, Brothers Laan – Thanks a million for creating the awesome open source apps. As I am new to the Apple world, unless you count cutting my teeth on an Apple ][e in 1988, while in rehab recovering from a bodacious car crash which rendered me a c5-6 quadriplegic.. After learning how to boot the dual floppy machine and firing up typing tutor as well as whatever other few apps that they had lying around, the nurses had a sweet Apple/Mac that they let me tinker around with. After leaving rehab, I was loaned a Commodore 128. The next Apple computer that I saw was a laptop, around 1996. A few months back, my sister picked up this iPhone 3gs. After getting ssh going, I'm like a kid in a candy shop.
Sorry to get off topic, brothers. Chris, I'm not positive, but you should be able to disable the 20percent battery display [don't quote me]. Thanks again brothers.
I agree that this is an excellent app. Lately, when I play back the video, it runs in slow motion, or freezes in one frame while the sound plays on. On another occasion, the playback had a screen full of multicolored lines going through it which made it impossible to see the video. I rebooted my iPhone and tried it again, but had the same problem. Any suggestions would be helpful, even if the suggestion is to purchase the other version. These videos are of my grandson so I need them to work! Thanks
When you plan to update it to firmware 4.0.1. is the best but is unusable because it works so badly. Updated look thanks
Can you “PLEASE” update the i video for I Phone 4 compatibility !!!!!
We need a Picasa upload option!!! Please let me know when this is available. I’ve already bought your app and use it often, but this is the only item I find lacking.
FOR THE LOVE OF GOD PLEASE UPDATE FOR THE iPHONE 4
I just bought this app and first of all it deleted my original camera, second it does not work. I have the app, hit the icon and the app starts up but then after about 5-8 seconds it just goes back to the iphone home page. Any thoughts on both problems?
Everytime I record I video…with or without an effect…it always plays back in blue.
